Today (Friday, February 14) is the last day of school for our oldest three at Promise Road Elementary in Noblesville, IN. It has been an amazing life and learning experience for our children (and our entire family). We are very thankful for the teachers and staff who love the children and lead them with excellence. Our children have always felt safe, loved, respected and challenged to learn. They not only received an excellent education, they have learned many life skills and cultivated many healthy relationships with both adults and peers. We praise God for this experience we have been blessed with. It makes it all the more difficult to leave. Please pray for Mayah, Malachi and Isaiah as they say “goodbye” to their friends, teachers and the school they have grown to love. While saying goodbye is difficult, we are excited to follow God’s leading to leave our life in Northeast Indianapolis and follow Him on the mission He has called us to among the 96% unchurched of South Florida. Whatever sacrifice we make is worth the joy of obeying and serving the Lord. We are blessed to have each other and some amazing friends and family in the area we are moving to. Most of all we are so thankful to have our heavenly Father with us no matter where on earth (or off earth) we go. It is encouraging to remind our children of that every day. Thank you, in advance, for your prayers today. It will not be easy for them to say goodbye. Would you pray for them also as they say “hello” to Hobe Sound Elementary in Martin County, FL and that they would cultivate healthy, enriching friendships rapidly. Pray that God will use them in their new school to make His Name great among their classmates, teachers and administrators!!
