I recently heard a GREAT IDEA for how to be missional (life on mission) with your neighbors. One of our faithful prayer supporters has invited 12 neighbor friends over to her house for dessert this Friday (7pm EDT). She asked each guest to be prepared to share the story of a major turning point in their life. This will open the door for her to naturally share the gospel through her story. I thought this was a great idea and would invite you to pray for them this week.
Is this an idea you would like to try? Do you have another idea for how to connect with people on the mission field of your life with the goal of sharing the gospel and inviting them to study the Bible? We would love to hear about it so we can pray for you and pass it along to others. Regardless of what you do, doing nothing is not an option when it comes to making disciples. Hudson Taylor (pioneer missionary to China, founder of OMF) said, “The Great Commission is not an option to be considered; it is a command to be obeyed.” The point is, do something to take a step towards obedience and rely on God’s power through prayer. You will be AMAZED as you watch Him work through you for His glory.
