BIG Prayer Needs Today in Japan…

Dearest Ministry Support Family:

Today is a BIG ministry day & we are desperate for your prayers:
  • Rachel is traveling w Lucy to her hometown of Asahikawa to spend the day with her childhood friend, Megu. Rachel’s primary goal is to open up her Bible and plead with Megu to believe in Jesus.  Rachel has shared the gospel many times with Megu during their 25-year friendship and is praying that today will be the day of salvation.
  • Troy is meeting with neighbor Mr Sato in his home today and working to prepare for 3 different sermons he will be preaching (Rachel interpreting) this weekend in Sapporo.  Pray for Mr Sato to (finally) believe in Jesus!
  • Please continue to pray for wisdom & clarity with next steps in ministry after June 1.  We have some big meetings this week and believe we are narrowing in where God is leading us after our year in Japan.   We are thankful for this process God is leading us through and excited about the possibilities but also wanting to patiently wait on the Lord as He makes His path very clear to us.
With only 16 days remaining before we return home, we are not short on ministry opportunities and are looking to finish strong all the way up to June 1 departure date.  Please pray for the fruit of new disciples that God will raise up to reach this city and island with the gospel!

in the grip of His grace,
Troy + Rachel Cooper
Mayah, Malachi, Isaiah, Tessa, Lucy
