Dearest Ministry Support Family:
Its me again. As we continue to rejoice in Christ for His work in and through Aya, we also want to request that you join us in praying for Hitomi, another mom from Tessa’s Kindergarten. Rachel will be meeting with Hitomi today to discuss the gospel from the Bible at 10pm EST (Fri, 11am in Japan). With 3 weeks left (yes, 22 days), we are really pursuing people we’ve sown seeds with all year and prayerfully urging them to repent and believe in Jesus. We first met Hitomi at a Kindergarten field trip last fall. Rachel shared the gospel with her during a picnic lunch. We drove her daughter (Hina) to school during the winter months so had numerous opportunities to demonstrate Jesus’ love while sharing the truth with her. Rachel has been pursuing Hitomi to study the Bible together and she finally agreed to meet. Please pray that today will be the day of salvation for Hitomi! We are excited to be serving in a church (Grace Church Sapporo) where Japanese believers are equipped to patiently studying the Bible with spiritually interested people and disciple them to grow and make disciples once they believe.
Lastly, will you please pray for the special outreach this weekend they are calling “Harvest Hour”. Manyoshi Sensei will be delivering 2 gospel messages on Saturday and one on Sunday. Many non-Christian friends and family will be in attendance. The Harvest Hour outreach provides a great opportunity to follow up and begin Bible studies with people who are interested (most are not interested at all so any interest is a work of God in them). We have a number of friends who will be attending. Pray for a harvest of Japanese disciples who will make disciples and reach this city, island and nation!
in the grip of His grace,
