One of the best books we’ve seen on church planting in outside to the Bible is Elbert Smith’s Church Planting By The Book which builds a case to get your strategy from the Bible–more specifically the 9 churches started by Paul in the book of Acts: Jerusalem, Antioch, Pisidian Antioch, Iconium, Lysta, Philippi, Thessalonica, Corinth & Ephesus.
