Merry Christmas from the Coopers! It is a humbling joy & privilege to serve King Jesus as a family on mission. We absolutely love Him & the teammates we get to serve Him with. Here is a quick personal update on our family:
Mayah (14) is wise & compassionate. She loves time with Jesus, traveling & training with her dad, singing in the Bella Cora choir, serving in leadership of their First Priority club & leading discipleship group with her classmates at Stuart Middle. She also enjoys writing & singing songs with her brothers. She currently has a heart for China.
Malachi (13) is adventurous & bold. He loves training leaders with his dad & shredding the halfpipe on his skateboard with Isaiah at the Palm City skate park where they have started an outreach Bible study. He also enjoys singing & playing piano, trumpet, saxophone, drums & guitar with his siblings. He currently has a heart for North America.
Isaiah (11) is diligent & thoughtful. He loves to travel with his dad, share the gospel in the harvest & lead at JD Parker Elementary as a student ambassador & safety patrol member. He enjoys running club, playing his bass guitar & surfing with his brother & cousins. He currently has a heart for Indonesia.
Tessa (9) is creative & intentional. As our household executive, she cares about the details & executes plans. She enjoys singing in the choir, playing teacher, creating crafts, tumbling & dancing with her sister. She currently has a heart for Africa.
Lucy (7) is full of life & joy. She has never met a stranger & includes everyone. She loves to play & dance with her sister & shred on the scooter with her brothers. She enjoys learning Spanish. She was impacted by her mission trip to Haiti with Rachel & Tessa.
Ezra (3) is determined & loyal. He loves to sing worship songs, ride his trike on ramps at the skate park and is improving in his vocabulary each day. He absolutely loves his brother, Laz.
Lazarus (1) is cheerful & strong. He loves to hug people & play in the dirt with his brother. He is our little explorer.
Rachel loves being the wife of Troy & mom of 7 non-stop kids. She enjoys reading, mentoring young moms & caring for the little boys. She loves people intensely & is an amazing listener. She always finds time to naturally share Jesus with most people she meets.
Troy loves spending time with his family & friends. He has a huge heart to see God’s Kingdom transform peoples’ lives—especially the unreached. He is passionate about starting, strengthening & sending missionary teams among new peoples in new places. He is focused on serving & supporting the next generation of emerging leaders.
2017 Ministry Snapshot: This past year our team saw Jesus move mightily as 25,237 were baptized & 3,764 new churches were started in Florida, USA, Latin America & Europe. We also saw 20 new church planting/missionary residencies launched. We’re marveling at Jesus’ work & excited to have a front row seat. We can’t wait to see Him continue His work in 2018 & beyond! Summer Move to Southern California: This coming June the Cooper Family on Mission is following God’s call & making the big move to Southern California where we’ll lead North American strategy with an emphasis on pioneering in the Western USA/Canada. Troy’s missionary role has expanded to North America Director at e3 Partners and is focusing on establishing global movement hubs in strategic cities (like LA). We are currently raising additional support to cover increased living & ministry expenses in Southern California.
