Dearest Ministry Support Family:
Greetings from Sapporo, Japan! We are 1 week away from our June 1 return to the USA! We have finished out most of our ministry responsibilities and are in the process of helping our children reflect on their life experiences this past year and say goodbye to Sapporo (think “Goodnight Moon” book). Not to mention we are giving things away and packing (Rachel is a packing machine). Additionally we are in the process of saying our goodbyes to people in the church and community with hopes that those who have not yet believed with put their faith in Jesus (Miss Sugai, Mr Sato, Satoshi, Megu + others). Please pray for these precious people to repent and believe in Jesus!
June Transition Time: As we return from our year in Japan, we will spend the month of June helping our family regroup and transition back to life in the USA as well as finalize our decision for next steps in ministry. We are praying through a few exciting opportunities and believe we will have clarity after our return to Indy. Thank you for your prayers and support as we continue to seek the Lord. We are praying about attending a missionary debrief program in Colorado either as a couple or a family. It has been recommended to us by other missionaries as an important step in transitioning the family home to prepare for what is next.
Transition Time Support: We are continually amazed at how the Lord has graciously provided exactly what we’ve needed financially and supported us generously though prayer. We are beggars for prayer and would ask that you continue to lift us before the Lord as we transition home. We are trusting Him to continue providing financially during our transition time in June. If you would like to continue monthly support or provide a one-time gift towards our transition time, please read the donation instructions below.
Ministry Donation Update: Castleview Baptist Church has graciously volunteered to handle tax-deductible donations towards our ministry through May 31, 2013. We are so thankful for them and the ministry they have provided to our family this past year. It is important to know that you may also submit tax-deductible donations towards our ministry to Onward Ministries (Onward Church | Fishers, IN) starting now and will continue beyond May 31 as our primary method of receiving financial support.
